MIXING & MASTERING.
A finished mix should help people hear the song, the performance and the decisions that make it yours. Work with the team on mixing and mastering for rap, rock and original music, with remote project enquiries welcome.
Plan your project
Mixing from $150 AUD. Mastering from $100 AUD. Final scope is quoted for your project.
Mixing that serves the arrangement
Balance, vocal clarity, low end and the relationship between instruments all shape how a track feels. Start by sharing your rough mix, references and the things you want to keep. The aim is to improve the record while respecting the identity of the performance.
Mastering with the release in mind
Mastering is the final preparation stage after the mix is approved. Send the mix and explain how it will be released so file requirements and scope can be agreed. If the mix needs attention first, discuss that before treating mastering as a repair step.
Send the files that tell the full story
For mixing, ask which exports are needed before uploading a large folder. Include a rough mix, tempo if known, clearly named tracks and notes about essential effects. For mastering, send the approved mix and flag anything you want checked. Remote artists can start by emailing project details.
How it works
- Send a rough mix, a reference and the result you want.
- Confirm file requirements, deliverables, revisions and the quote.
- Review the work and agree the final exports for your release.
A FEW USEFUL ANSWERS.
Can I work with you remotely?
Yes. Mixing and mastering enquiries are welcome from artists outside Melbourne. Confirm transfer methods and file requirements with the team before sending the project.
Are mixing and mastering the same service?
No. Mixing works with the individual parts of a song. Mastering works with the approved mix as a final preparation stage. They can be discussed together or separately.
How many revisions are included?
Revision scope is confirmed in your quote. Explain what you need and check the agreed deliverables before the project starts.
What genres do you work on?
Simon’s own Donkeyman project combines rap and rock. Send your music and references so he can assess the direction and fit for your project.
TELL US WHAT YOU’RE MAKING.
The team will confirm scope, price and availability. No payment is taken by this form.
