Privacy & your data
Donkeyman Records collects the name, email address and project details you choose to submit so Simon can respond to your enquiry or application.
Customer email and password login is provided by Clerk when connected. Clerk handles passwords, email verification codes and login sessions; this site does not store your password. Existing Sign in with ChatGPT access and private owner access remain available. We store your account identifier, name, email and mobile number to manage your membership, studio sessions, payment records and receipts. Your 10% member pricing applies to merch and studio services when you are signed in. We do not receive or store your ChatGPT password.
Email and SMS updates about events, releases and specials are separate, optional preferences. You can change or withdraw either preference in your account at any time and keep your member benefit. We record your choices and when you saved them. Account preferences do not send automatic marketing emails or texts.
Only you and the authorised Donkeyman Records owner can access your session and receipt records. Payment records entered by the owner represent money already received; entering a record does not charge a card. When online checkout is enabled, Stripe processes payments on its own secure checkout page. We store the order, amount, payment status and Stripe references to update your sessions, order history and receipts. For merch purchases, Stripe shares the delivery details needed to fulfil your order. Your email is shared with Stripe for payment receipts. Card numbers and security codes are not collected or stored by this site.
Community updates are optional. Joining the community updates list records the interests you select and your consent to receive those updates. The Yard artist expressions of interest are stored separately to review your music, performance setup and application. They do not subscribe you to marketing. Enquiries and guest applications do not subscribe you to marketing.
Forms are stored for Donkeyman Records to review. Submitting a form does not send an automatic marketing email, confirm a booking or take a payment. A booking request is confirmed separately after availability, scope and payment arrangements are agreed.
The game vote uses a cookie to remember your choice and lets you change your vote. Watching an embedded episode connects to YouTube. Social and music links open separate services with their own policies. The merch bag is saved in your browser so it is there when you return. A temporary secure checkout cookie lets guest customers privately check the status of their latest order. Merch requests store your selected items, name, email, country, postcode and notes so Simon can confirm availability, delivery and payment. Sending a merch request does not place a confirmed order, take a payment or subscribe you to marketing.
We do not publish your contact details or sell your information. Question submissions may be considered for the show; we will ask before naming you.
To unsubscribe, request a copy of your details, correct them or have them deleted, email simon@donkeymanrecords.com.
Studio calendar and team access
When you book a recording, your name, booking contact details, session notes, selected time and deposit status are added to the studio Google Calendar. Customers see available times only. Staff can view business records only where Simon or an authorised administrator grants permission. Your fan or client profile does not grant staff access. Promo code use is recorded with checkout so limits can be enforced.
Member arcade and leaderboard
Your account has a unique public username used in Donkeyman’s Arcade, member profiles and member greetings. Choosing a username does not publish your contact details. Playing an arcade game saves the completed run and personal best under your account username. Other signed in members can see usernames, scores and rankings for each game and the overall arcade. The server replays game controls to calculate scores; raw controls are processed during score submission and are not retained. Your earlier scores remain linked if you change your username. You can add a profile photo, a bio and social or music links. When profile sharing is enabled, other signed in members can view these details by tapping your username on a leaderboard. You can edit or hide them in Your details. Profiles and photos require a signed in member account and are not public search pages. Photos are stored privately, and replacing or removing a photo removes the previous stored image. Your email, mobile number, orders, session bookings and receipts are not part of your member profile. Contact Simon if you want your leaderboard entry removed.
