Music producer, recording engineer, multi instrumentalist, artist and the person behind Donkeyman Records.
The artist behind the studio
Simon started on guitar and developed into a multi instrumentalist who writes and produces music by playing most parts himself. Under the name Donkeyman, he makes music that brings rap and rock together with an independent approach to writing and releasing.
Sound and visuals, in the same conversation
At Donkeyman Records, Simon works across recording, production, mixing and mastering. He also shoots and edits photo and video, so artists can discuss a song and the content around it together. The studio is based in Ferntree Gully in Melbourne’s east.
