The basics for using Donkeyman Records.
Who you are dealing with
Donkeyman Records Pty Ltd operates this website and provides services in Ferntree Gully, Victoria. Contact simon@donkeymanrecords.com about orders, bookings or these terms. Prices and payments are in Australian dollars. The checkout total shows the applicable discount and shipping before you pay.
Bookings and payment
Your selected service, inclusions, duration and price are shown before payment. A booking is reserved after the required payment is received and calendar confirmation succeeds. Payments marked as needing review require team confirmation before you attend. Deposits count towards your total. The remaining balance is shown in your account; confirm payment arrangements with the team before the session. Booking requests and enquiries alone do not reserve a time.
Session times and changes
Website sessions run between 4pm and midnight, subject to availability. Bookings are limited to four hours. Recording, creative sessions and rehearsals require 24 hours notice; venue hire requires 48 hours. Setup and pack down count towards hire time. Contact the team for other times, changes or cancellations. Read our refunds policy before paying.
Your creative work
You retain rights you already hold in your music and creative material. Only submit material you have permission to use. Deliverables, revisions, credits and any licence or transfer of rights in work we create must be agreed as part of your project. We will ask before using private client work for promotion.
Membership and community
Members Club membership is free and has no recurring membership charge. The current member benefit is 10% off eligible merch and studio services while signed in. The better of the member discount and a promo applies; discounts do not stack. Marketing consent is optional. Keep your login secure and treat other members respectfully. Do not post unlawful, abusive or infringing material. Moderators may remove content or restrict access for misconduct. Account closure does not cancel existing bookings or orders.
Hire, events and your rights
Space hire is also subject to the hire policy. The HQ launch on 21 November 2026 is members only. Free membership and an individual RSVP are required for each attendee; free membership alone does not reserve an event place. Event specific conditions must be disclosed before purchase. These terms do not exclude Australian Consumer Law rights or other rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. Updates apply to future transactions and do not retrospectively change an agreed booking or order.
