Donkeyman is an Australian musician, rapper, singer, guitarist, and music producer, known for his raw, authentic sound and relentless drive in the independent music scene. Based in the southeast of Melbourne, he is the founder of Donkeyman Records, a label and creative hub built to empower independent artists. His journey in music spans over 15 years, blending hip-hop, rock, metal, punk, funk, and acoustic storytelling into a unique sonic experience. After a brief hiatus due to mental health challenges, Donkeyman made a powerful return in 2022, marking a fresh chapter in his career by converting a caravan into a fully functional recording studio—the birthplace of Donkeyman Records.

The Vision

Beyond his own music, Donkeyman is dedicated to building a sustainable music ecosystem through The Rebels Without A Pause, a collective of artists, producers, and creatives pushing boundaries in the scene. With the launch of Donkeyman Records HQ, a new factory space housing recording studios, a live venue, and a pawn shop, he is turning independent artistry into a movement. Donkeyman’s label offers membership-based services for artists, including studio time, marketing, and distribution tools through a custom-built system. This initiative helps artists manage the business side of music without breaking the bank, allowing them to focus on what truly matters—creating.
